Description

Growth Habit: A pendent (hanging) shrublet with thin, flaccid, fragile stems that can reach up to 50 cm – 60 cm in length.
Leaves: Fleshy, succulent, and often covered with a white, powdery, waxy coating (bloom). They are small (18-25 mm), oval/elliptical, and typically grey-green with distinct red, reddish-brown, or purple margins when sun-stressed.
Flowers: Small, 40-45 mm long, bell-shaped, and usually orange, red, or yellowish-orange. They are produced in spring and summer on branched inflorescences.
Habitat & Cultivation: Naturally found on sheer cliff faces, making it suitable for hanging baskets, rockeries, and sunny, dry, frost-free locations.
