Light:
Prefers bright, indirect light to partial sun.
Can tolerate morning sun, but avoid harsh afternoon sun which may scorch the leaves.
Watering:
Keep soil consistently moist, especially during active growth.
Water regularly to prevent drying out, but avoid waterlogging.
Reduce watering slightly during dormancy in winter.
Humidity:
Thrives in high humidity (60–80%).
Benefits from misting or placement near a humidifier.
Low humidity can cause leaf edges to brown.
Temperature:
Ideal range: 18–28°C.
Sensitive to frost; avoid temperatures below 15°C.
Soil:
Use a rich, well-draining soil mix (potting soil mixed with compost and perlite).
Soil should retain moisture but allow excess water to drain.
Fertilizing:
Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer.
Stop feeding during winter dormancy.
Pruning & Maintenance:
Remove yellow or damaged leaves at the base.
Wipe leaves gently to maintain their glossy appearance.
Repotting:
Repot every 1–2 years or when rootbound.
Best done in spring using a larger container.
