Kalanchoe pumila | 10cm Pot | Flower Dust Plant Silver Succulent

Kalanchoe pumila, commonly known as the Flower Dust Plant, is a striking dwarf succulent shrub admired for its silvery foliage and delicate winter blooms. Planted in a 10cm pot, this compact yet spreading variety adds texture and soft colour to indoor displays and protected outdoor spaces.

This member of the Crassulaceae family forms dense, arching stems covered in long silver-grey leaves edged with subtle toothed purple margins. The foliage is coated in a fine whitish waxy bloom, giving the plant its characteristic “dusty” appearance.

During late winter to early spring, Kalanchoe pumila produces charming pink to purple flowers, creating a beautiful contrast against the cool-toned leaves. As it matures, it can reach approximately 30cm in height with a spreading habit of 60–90cm, making it ideal for shallow planters, succulent bowls, or cascading arrangements.

Native to Madagascar, this species prefers bright light and moderate warmth, thriving in indoor environments with good airflow and well-draining soil.
