Care & Growth Habits
Growth Type: It is a terrestrial crawler. Instead of climbing up a pole, its thick stem (rhizome) grows horizontally across the soil surface.
Potting: Because it crawls, it is best suited for long, rectangular, or wide shallow pots. Crucially, the rhizome should sit on top of the soil, as burying it can lead to rot.
Light & Environment: Requires bright, indirect light to maintain the vivid silver contrast; too little light will cause the silver to fade. It thrives in humidity above 60%.
