What’s in the mix
ROOTLABS Aroid Mix is a precision-blended substrate made from:
• Coarse orchid bark for structure and airflow
• LECA for drainage and root aeration
• Perlite to reduce weight and balance moisture
• Worm castings for gentle, slow-release nutrition

Blended in fixed ratios for consistency and repeatable results.

Best suited for
• Monstera (all sizes)
• Philodendron (including climbers)
• Anthurium
• Alocasia
• Other chunky-rooted aroids

Not recommended for
• Seedlings
• Fine-rooted plants
• Succulents or cacti
• Plants that prefer constantly wet media

How to use
• Use as a complete substrate straight from the bag
• Can be blended with extra bark or LECA for very large plants or high-airflow environments
• Always use pots with drainage holes

How to water
• Water thoroughly until runoff
• Allow the top 3–5 cm of the mix to dry before watering again
• Never keep the mix constantly wet
• Watering frequency depends on pot size, light, airflow, and season

Volume & handling
• Volume: 8 litres (loose fill)
• Lightweight and easy to handle
• One bag fills approximately:
– 1 large pot
– 2 – 3 medium pots
– Several small pots
