Description

Appearance:
A dwarf succulent that grows as a dense, low-branching mat, usually reaching 5–10 cm (up to 4 inches) in height, though flowering stems can make it slightly taller.

Leaves:
The leaves are generally lanceolate to linear-elliptic, 4–45 mm long, and fleshy with a pointed tip. They are grey-green to brownish, often adorned with dark green or purplish dimpled spots on the upper surface—a key feature giving it the nickname “Tiger Jade”. The leaf margins often have fine, white, cilia (hairs).

Flowers:
From late summer to late autumn (or winter), the plant produces small, white to pinkish, cup-shaped flowers. The flowers are clustered in dense terminal heads (cymes) and possess a musty, honey-like fragrance.

Roots:
The root system is adventitious, allowing for easy propagation.
