R45.00

Crassula muscosa, commonly known as the Watch Chain plant. It is a unique, low-growing succulent native to South Africa and Namibia. Description

Appearance:
It features densely packed, light-green leaves arranged in four precise rows that completely hide the branching stems underneath.

Growth Habit: Stems begin by growing completely erect but will gradually cascade or trail over under their own weight as they lengthen.

Nicknames: You might also hear it referred to as Lizard’s Tail, Zipper Plant, Princess Pine, or Rattail

Crassula.
Essential Care TipsLight: Thrives in bright, indirect sunlight or cool morning sun. If kept indoors, place it on a very sunny windowsill.

Watering: Follow a “soak and dry” method. Water deeply only when the potting mix is thoroughly bone-dry, as excess water can cause the roots to rot quickly.

Soil:
Requires exceptional drainage. Use a loose, grainy commercial cactus and succulent potting mix blended with perlite or coarse sand.
