Description

🌱 Overview

Syngonium Albo Variegated is a highly sought-after climbing aroid, admired for its striking white and green marbled leaves. Each leaf is uniquely patterned, making it a standout collector’s plant. As it matures, it can climb or trail, adding versatility to your indoor jungle.

☀️ Light Requirements

Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain strong variegation.
Too little light may cause the plant to revert to greener leaves, while direct sun can scorch the white sections.

💧 Watering

Water when the top 2–4 cm of soil is dry.
Keep soil lightly moist but never soggy.
Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.

🌡️ Temperature & Humidity

Thrives in temperatures between 18–28°C.
Prefers moderate to high humidity (50–70%+).
Higher humidity supports larger leaves and healthier variegation.

🌿 Soil

Use a well-draining, airy aroid mix:

Potting soil
Perlite
Orchid bark

Optional: Add coco coir or charcoal for improved aeration.

🪴 Fertilizing

Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 2–4 weeks during spring and summer.
Reduce feeding during cooler months.

✂️ Maintenance
Prune to encourage bushier growth.
Provide a moss pole or trellis for larger, mature leaves.
Remove fully white leaves if they begin to weaken the plant (they lack chlorophyll).
🌱 Growth Habit

Can be grown as a trailing or climbing plant.
Climbing will produce larger, more mature foliage.

⚠️ Common Issues
Reverting leaves (more green): Not enough light
Brown edges on white areas: Low humidity or too much direct sun
Yellowing leaves: Overwatering
Leggy growth: Insufficient light

🐾 Pet Safety

Toxic if ingested. Keep away from pets and children.
