Copiapoa hypogea barquitensis originates from the coastal desert region of chile.

All seeds for sale have been harvested from our own collection of mother-plants. Note that the environmental and cultivation preferences noted above, are for care of mature plants.

The copiapoa hypogea barquitensis, is a beautiful slow clumping/clustering plant, with offsets forming around its base. Growing season is in spring and summer with beautiful large yellow flowers blooming on warmer days.
