This tropical climbing evergreen perennial is perhaps most noted for its large fenestrated leaves on thick plant stems and its long cord-like aerial roots. Perfect for shaded outside areas or indoors.

• lighting: provide bright, indirect light for optimal growth. It can tolerate lower light, but growth may slow down.
• watering: water when the top 10 – 15cm of soil feel dry. Ensure the pot has drainage to prevent root rot.
• humidity: monstera enjoys a bit of humidity, and will thrive outdoors in shaded areas.
• give your monstera a growpole to climb on, or a sturdy structure like a wall or tree if grown outside.
