Leca (2L)

Large Leca are used in chunky Aroid and Orchid Mixes. Small Leca are ideal for water retention in Bonsai Mixes. Leca is also used in hydroponic and soil-less growing mixes that rely on regular fertiliser flushing. Leca is also useful for pebble trays, for plants which prefer higher humidity. Water is then kept in the trays and the pots balance on top of the Leca and are not actually submerged in water, but benefit from water evaporation, creating a higher humidity around the plant.
