Anthurium hoffmannii x (Red Crystallinum x FC) is a complex, velvet-leaf hybrid that blends the traits of three distinct species to create a highly ornamental collector’s plant. Because it is a hybrid of three parents, individual plants grown from seed often exhibit a range of unique physical characteristics.

Anthurium hoffmannii: Contributes a compact growth habit and a rounder, tighter leaf shape.
Anthurium Red Crystallinum: Known for new leaves that emerge in vibrant shades of bright red or burgundy before maturing to deep green. It also provides the iconic shimmering white or silver venation.
Anthurium Forgetii (“FC”): Primarily influences the leaf shape by often reducing or “closing” the sinus (the space between the top lobes), resulting in a more ovate or circular leaf.
