Amydrium Zippelianum

Why It’s a Jungle Game-Changer
The “Palm” Transformation: Unlike its cousin Amydrium medium, which has holes (fenestrations), the zippelianum matures into deeply lobed, finger-like leaflets. This gives it a feathery, fern-like appearance that adds a “tropical canopy” feel to your room.
Massive Scale: In its natural habitat, it can soar up to 15 metres high. Indoors, with a sturdy moss pole, its leaves can reach an impressive 50–90 cm in length, fanning out in a dramatic green spray.
Prehistoric Texture: The foliage has a waxy, glossy texture and a unique, slightly raised venation that feels leathery and “ancient” to the touch.
Vigorous Growth: It is a fast and easy grower. Under the right conditions, it can transform from a small, juvenile starter to a massive vertical specimen in just a few growing seasons.
